over 25 years experience, Barry manages all sales/use tax and gross receipts compliance
issues, audits, and hearings for Towe & Associates. He assists clients in the use of
statistical sampling to efficiently manage their state tax audits, sales/use tax planning,
audit reductions, and overpayment recoveries. Prior to joining Towe and Associates, Barry
was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Don has over 35 years of state and local tax experience. He develops tax strategies for direct pay and consumer's use tax clients in the retail, manufacturing, construction, food service and hospitality industries. Don assists companies in the use of statistical sampling to manage their sales and use tax compliance efficiently and effectively. | |

Ken brings thirty-seven years of public utility tax knowledge to Towe and Associates. His specialties include: income franchise tax, sales and use tax, pollution control exemptions and personal property taxes. | |

Chris has more than twenty years
experience in state and local taxation, including tax abatements and pollution control
certificates. Chris was supervisor of audit review for the Ohio Department of Taxation,
Sales/Use tax division where she served on the audit policy and procedure committee. She
spent the last thirteen years working in the manufacturing industry directing her sales/use
and personal property specialties in numerous states at audit management and appeal,
asset allocation, pollution control, tax abatements along with sales tax direct payment
procedures. Chris obtained her Masters of Taxation from the

Dan has worked in the area of Ohio
Sales/Use Tax for over 30 years. As an audit manager with the Ohio
Department of Taxation, Dan reviewed and assigned work to tax auditors.
He has been involved with a wide range of entities from small retailers to Fortune
500 companies. Dan is familiar with sampling techniques utilized by the
department from liquor markups to block and statistical sampling. He has
assisted with developing direct pay procedures and creating in-house training for the
department on performing construction contractor audits. He has also been
involved with vendor sales audits and is knowledgeable as to documentation needed to
support exempt sales and services.
